  • Bachelor's degree and three years; or combination of experience and specialized training.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of office procedures and practices. As well as knowledge of creating best practices and implementation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with college leadership, faculty, staff, students, and the public.
  • Keyboarding and comprehensive computer skills, such as e-mail, internet, spreadsheets, database management, and software applications. M365 experience needed.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills as well as organizational and analytical skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in college/university environment.

Duties / Responsibilities
Job Duties

Duty/Responsibility
Provide administrative support for the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. To include:
  • Calendar management, meeting preparation, and coordination of follow ups and action items.
  • Coordinate college processes and procedures to chairs, faculty, and other members within the college community.
  • Prepare reports on academic programs, course enrollments, and trends.
  • Coordinate with departments on special programs such as study abroad.
  • Sole DIG TEV liaison and main contact for all faculty evaluations; working directly with Administrative Services Manager to provide reporting for personnel files and Office of the Dean back up.
  • Provide summer support for department chairs and sole administrative support for faculty in the summer.
  • Coordinate with the College promotion and tenure committee for annual promotion and tenure submission.
  • Prepare materials and draft reports for use in various committees and constituencies.
  • Liaise with Associate Dean on accreditation visits and on-site external reviews of programs.
  • Provide administrative support in the logistics, planning, and historical archiving on college advisory boards.
  • Coordinate the requests, submission, and approval process for the annual graduate faculty nominations from each program.
Duty/Responsibility
Be the sole administrative support for the Assistant Dean of Student Success including:
  • Calendar management, meeting preparation, and coordination of follow ups and action items.
  • Coordinate with departments on special projects and assist with student success events.
  • Assist with payment of various student related services with external vendors (mental health, gym, etc.).
  • Create, coordinate, and summarize data requests.
  • Maintain files and information on departments and staff within the Student Success department.
  • Main administrative support for the campus/college CARES Team.
Duty/Responsibility
Administrative support within the Office of the Dean and the campus including:
  • Main office greeter and first point of contact for the office for phone, questions, visitors, concerns, and issues.
  • Oversight of the office conference room, supply closet, reception area; ordering necessary supplies and office equipment as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding materials, ordering equipment or supplies, coordinating building tours for new hires, and aid in logistical planning for new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Back-up support for events on campus.
  • General administrative support and back-up support to the Academic Services Manager and the Office of the Dean.
