Clinical Homecare Coder/OASIS reviewer

Job Description
Allay Home and Hospice is a locally owned hospice and homecare company in Southeastern Wisconsin. We are actively looking for a clinical billing coder to review submissions for reimbursement, code those submissions and provide staff education on common misunderstandings/errors in coding. Our ideal candidate would be a nurse or therapist with a homecare background, coding experience, and certification in ICD-10.
This position is located in our Brookfield office. This position is part time with flexible hours, but needs daily availability.

Job Requirements:
- Must have previous experience in Billing and Coding for Homecare funded by Medicare/Medicaid
- Active Wisconsin nursing or Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy license
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Proficient in completing all necessary tasks to finalize the billing process;
- Certified in ICD-10 coding and OASIS;
- Familiarity with PDGM guidelines a plus
- Priority given to applicants with Billing & Coding Certification.
