Job Description
Job Summary:
This position requires an experienced, MIS technician with a broad knowledge in computer software and hardware.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Provides support for all user IT support issues and works with available resources, hardware and software vendors to provide effective solutions, break/fix and problem resolution.
  • Experience in Windows servers configuration(Server 2003 & 2008, 2012) along with troubleshooting (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP & Group Policy)
  • Responds to Help Desk tickets, telephone calls, E-mails and personnel requests for technical support. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
  • Maintains, repairs & upgrades Desktops, Laptops, Printers, & Scanners
  • Assist in developing and maintaining websites – execute design and maintain high design / production quality.
  • Design user interface, tools and web pages to meet MHSI branding guidelines and web best practices. Develop site content and graphics.
  • Solid understanding of web technology along with strong design and creative skills
  • Strong skills in the design of site navigation/ Sharepoint
  • Ability to hand code standards based HTML/ CSS / Dreamweaver / Javascript/jQuery
  • Advanced skills with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other industry-standard computer graphics software
  • Maintains and supports Windows desktop and applications (MS Office Suite, Share Point, and Exchange Server 2010)
  • Install vendor Critical and Microsoft Security patches and updates.
  • Safeguards the company's operating data through a formalized and documented program of security administration and data backups
  • Tracks and monitors the problem to insure a timely resolution.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot wired/wireless networks
  • Basic understanding of Network and phone wiring knowledge – basic understanding of patch panels / cable wiring.
  • Knowledge working within a EMR (electronic medical records and CMS (customer Management System.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Security or Administration, or related degree. Associate Degree accepted with five years direct work experience
  • Certifications in MS Operating Systems, A+ Certification, or MS Office application.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of PC, laptop and infrastructure hardware and operating systems.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in website design / Share Point
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in LAN / WAN / Wireless / VPN / Mobile network architecture, devices and security consisting of Cisco, HP, and Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in VMWare virtual server architecture and infrastructure.
  • MOracle EBS and Business Intelligence databases, software, hardware, and network architecture.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in various server applications and services including, but not limited to: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange
  • Must possess analytical skills to troubleshoot, report, communicate MIS issues and resolutions
  • Detail oriented with a strong focus on customer service
  • Flexible and able to multi task and prioritize duties.
  • Must be able to work a rotating weekend shift with existing team members

Special Notes/Instructions
A+ Certification or network Plus required, Microsoft plus. Minimum three years -Networking ,software and hardware experience. Web Base Design system support a plus.
