Job Scope
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, implementation and tracking of assigned projects, ensuring that timelines and guidelines are met and that project requirements are fulfilled. This role includes cross-functional project management, ensuring successful business outcomes and leading the development and delivery of products to the markets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Project Planning and Coordination:
* Create and manage integrated project plans, timelines, and budgets for medium-sized projects, ensuring efficient resource use and adherence to schedule.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders technical leaders and Project Sponsors to define detailed project plans, sequencing activities for successful project completion.
* Lead and facilitate regular meetings, ensuring the timely delivery of action items, and follow up on deliverables from subject matter experts.
* Monitor daily project activities and produce regular status reports for stakeholders and management.
* Conduct close-out evaluations of projects to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
* Stakeholder Management:
* Maintain strong relationships while supporting a culture of accountability among internal teams and third-party resources, clarifying task assignments and project roles.
* Budget and Resource Management:
* Plan and Monitor and project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
* Coordinate cross-functional resource allocations effectively to meet project goals.
* Risk Management:
* Identify potential risks and issues affecting the program and develop mitigation strategies.
* Address and resolve conflicts and challenges that arise during project execution.
* Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
* Measure project performance using key metrics and report on progress to stakeholders.
* Conduct regular project reviews and implement improvements as needed.
* Team Leadership:
* Manage cross-functional development teams and drive accountability
* Cultivate a high performing work team culture among project teams & organization
* Support the Project Management Office (PMO) by developing and improving project management tools and processes.
* Compliance and Standards:
* Adhere to all regulatory agency standards, company quality standards and corporate policies.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget, complying with company policies, the Code of Ethics, and relevant quality standards.
* Other duties may be assigned based on department or company business needs.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience in the Medical Diagnostics or Device industry, Biotechnology or a similar field, including Project Management, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, or Clinical.
* Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and programs.
* Strong understanding of and experience with project management tools and techniques.
* Proficiency with design control standards.
* Experienced in using project management tools and Project and Portfolio Management tools.
* Lean certification or training, with quantifiable experience in optimizing manufacturing operations is a plus.
* Recognized Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable.
* Effective project management technical skills including budget management, schedule development, and risk management.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Leadership and team management abilities.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs demand.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $72,660 - $112,940 Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
