POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting internship opportunity in our New York City Global Tax Department. This is an ongoinginternship;it will beginimmediatelyand continue throughout the year. We are looking for a commitment of at least 24 hours per week throughout the semesterand full time during the Summer.

This is an in-person internshipat our 25 Madison office in New York Citywith a commitment of over one year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare various tax returns and supporting schedules (sales & use tax, B&O, resale certificates, exemption certificates).

  • Assistwith information gathering and work paper organization.

  • Assistin implementingnew technologyfor data analysis, datagatheringand reporting.

  • Perform other tax compliance and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a college or University.

  • Undergraduate Accounting majors preferred.

  • Students entering their sophomore or junior year of collegehighlypreferred.

  • Excellent communication,analyticaland organizational skills.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Self-starter.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to handle many priorities/functions.

  • Flexible hours, preferably a minimum of 24 hours per week.

  • All candidates mustbe authorized towork in the USA.

The target hourly rate for this internship is $21.00 per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
