Quality Tech
Shift: 3rd, (Hours may vary)
Pay: $41/hr (Based on experience)
Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Technician (Quality Auditor) is responsible for ensuring product quality through measurement and visual inspection of production parts in accordance with the Process Quality Plan.
Job Description:
- Ensure consistent product quality and proper identification of parts
- Process inventory transactions and disposition rejected parts using proper scanning procedures
- Verify newly started jobs meet Process Quality Plan requirements by reviewing packaging instructions at the press
- Perform tests and verification procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Issue Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs) on production parts as required
- Ensure all production areas are supplied with proper packaging materials (labels, boxes, bags, etc.)
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks, hand jacks, and box erectors to support packaging and palletizing
- Continuously monitor finished goods from assigned presses throughout the shift
- Monitor red bin quantities and enter scrap data into IQMS
- Collect, audit, and tag End-of-Run retain samples
- Complete all required documentation, records, and forms accurately
- Communicate effectively and professionally in a team-oriented environment
