Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3pm-11:30pm

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced EDM Setup Operator to join our team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Conventional EDM machining, with a strong focus on tooling and production environments. This position offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities to work with state-of-the-art EDM equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Conventional EDM machines in a production and tooling environment
- Manufacture, dress, and re-dress electrodes using tool room equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical documentation
- Plan tooling requirements, setup procedures, machining methods, and operation sequences
- Determine and adjust machine parameters to maximize machining efficiency and quality
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications
- Inspect and measure workpieces using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Record inspection and production data as required
- Communicate job status, procedures, and issues with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Conventional EDM machines
- Strong knowledge of tooling, production processes, and electrode fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
