Job Description
Tool & Die Maker, 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 6am to 3:30pm and Friday 6am to 10am
Pay: $35-$40/hour
Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing and assembling tooling projects.
Responsibilities:
Is responsible for managing assigned tooling projects to meet quality and delivery expectations of the customer
Is responsible for assembling tooling, ensuring machined components are to specifications and processes used will meet scheduling completion date
Is responsible for actively participating in Pre-Build meetings to determine most efficient manufacturing processes
Is responsible for machining components using standard processes to required tolerances and completion dates
Principle Duties:
Set-up and operate machine tools to manufacture components
Assemble components into tooling
Train/Mentor Apprentices
Demonstrates safe work habits
Maintain a clean and organize work area using 5S principles
