Job Description

The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales in the Power Efficiency Solutions(PES)Segment-focused onair movingtechnologiesused indata centerthermalmanagementsolutionsandothers. Primary duties includebuilding a robust project funnel,revenue goal achievement, implementing a sales plan to drive profitable growth, and executingthe plan. The successful candidate willbea subject matter expert in data center thermal management applications,energetic, persuasive,well-organized and able todemonstratethe ability to sell strategically. Define and executeeffectivesales strategies,business development, marketing, technical, and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.

PESis one ofthreeoperating segments with approximately $1.7Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutionssold indata centers,semiconductors,life sciences,applied andcommercial HVAC,residentialHVAC, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water,and other general industries.BrandsincludeNicotra Gebhardt,Genteq,Fasco, Elco,Leeson.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Responsible formeeting/exceeding sales targets while providing detailed andaccuratesales forecasts.

  • Demonstratedsuccess in pursuinglong-cyclebusiness development with complexequipment manufacturers (OEM), including theengineeringqualification process.

  • Experienceidentifyingand influencinglarge capitalprojectswith typically long salescycles,deployed in data centers.

  • Creates andmaintainsprojects in CRM, driving opportunities from lead,tobid,toclose,andfrom order to cash.

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plan and institutes effective standard work fordata centercustomers,sales processes based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive specification and end-user demand forPES air movingend-to-endsolutions,pulling throughsales ofcentrifugal fans,axial fans,motors,controls, accessories, andothers.

  • Monitors customer and market trends and clearly communicates risks and opportunities toleadershipteam.

  • Leads quarterly business and monthly performance reviews

  • Negotiates customer contracts and programs as required.

  • Establish effective relationships with key influencers related todata centerprojects,utilizingair moving solutions as part of the project scope, and working with keyOEMs tohave RRX technologies qualified.

  • Gather detailed information aboutdata centercustomers andproject opportunities,identifykeydecision-makers, understand strategic business challenges and priorities, and lead team insuccessfulprojectandwins.

  • Drivescommercial and product strategies to outpace market growth ofdata centervertical.

  • Ensures high post-sales satisfaction,facilitatingpositive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with accounts.

  • Cultivates business and market development growth opportunities by promoting value propositions to meet customer needs.

  • Contributes to a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.

  • Demonstrates technical product training and effectively communicates features,benefitsand advantages over the competition.

Required Skills andQualifications:

  • BS in Business, Marketing,Engineeringor a related fieldor10+ yearsorrelevant experience

  • 5+ yearscommercial experience intheHVACand/orData center space

  • Strong presentation communication skills

  • Strong/passionate customer focus

  • Salesexperience focusing on distributors, contractors, consultants,andend-users

  • Strong analytical,problem solving,negotiation, and relationship management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines

  • Strong computer skills -experience with Microsoft Office (Word,Exceland PowerPointOutlook & Teams)

  • Ability to work independently and remotely

Preferred Skills andQualifications:

  • Experience working with 80/20, and Power BI

  • High levelof personal initiative, energy, and ownership of business results

Expected Base Salary Range: $130k - $160k + Incentives
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base paycompensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, includingbut not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location,candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensationcomparisons among other potential factors.
