Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by Management.
Examine alignment of parts and measure parts for conformance to specified dimensions utilizing traditional metrology methods and equipment (i.e., ID/OD Micrometers, Height Stands, Calipers)
Performing Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection activities may include some or all of the following:
• Manual drafting to document dimensional requirements and features as found.
• Assure assembly of final product with parts list to detect missing hardware.
• Visually examine parts as applicable to work assignment.
• Verify and record production documentation
• Verifies all Quality aspects are performed in accordance with the Quality Management System Procedures, Work Instructions, forms, and Customer Specific Requirements.
Required Competencies:
• Working knowledge of manual inspection tools, required
(ID/OD Micrometers, Height Stands, Calipers).
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Drawings / Blueprints, required.
Required Characteristics:
Candidate must be able to quickly adapt to their new working environment and be accepting of the training and support provided by peers and management. We are seeking an individual that, once properly trained, can excel working both independently and as part of the greater Quality Team and that has an exceptional attendance record.
