Job Description
Converting Press Operator
Shift: 2nd, (3pm-11:30pm)
Pay: $22-$25/hr (based on experience)
As a Converting Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Delta press to produce high-quality converted products to precise specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating press equipment using touch screen controls
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and job tickets
- Performing set-ups, splicing roll material, and adjusting press parameters
- Conducting quality inspections and maintaining tight tolerances
- Recording time and material usage in LabelTraxx system
- Performing preventative maintenance and keeping the press area clean and organized
- Laminating materials and adhesives as needed
- Collaborating with team members to ensure production goals and quality standards are met
