Educational requirements: Must have ONE of the following:
*If teaching MATH 211, 231, 232, 233, or 234, must have 8 credits in calculus, as well as 9 graduate credits in mathematics*
Preferred Qualifications In ADDITION to the Minimums Listed Above:Start Date: This position supports the General Education Pathway and is available to start for the spring semester; approximately January, 2026 start date.
Hours: This is a part-time pool position and will require teaching courses at MATC campuses, business, community, other sites, and/or online during the day, evening, and/or weekend. Hours, location, and modality are based on enrollment and departmental need. Out of state applicants must be willing to relocate to the Milwaukee/SE Wisconsin area.
Salary: Beginning in the fall of 2024 the starting hourly wage for all part-time faculty is $40 per course hour of teaching. Part-time faculty are also compensated for an additional 45 minutes of time for each hour of instruction to cover office hours and prep time which is equivalent to $70 per hour. This starting hourly wage of $40 an hour is non-negotiable unless market conditions dictate otherwise.
