2nd Shift Lead Machinist / Foreman
Location: Krueger Bearings – Milwaukee, WI

We’re looking for a hands-on 2nd Shift Lead Machinist / Foreman to guide our shop floor team, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency. This is a leadership role for a skilled machinist who thrives on teamwork, problem-solving, and mentoring others.

Shift Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday | 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

  • One Saturday per month required

  • Overtime available (40+ hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct machinists on CNC mills, lathes, and other machining centers

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members

  • Oversee part quality and inspection processes throughout production

  • Assist management with staffing decisions, evaluations, and personnel recommendations

  • Perform machining operations on complex parts, including setup and production

  • Review and interpret routings and customer blueprints

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of well-rounded machining experience (mills and lathes)

  • Strong knowledge of cutting tools, measuring tools, and gauging processes

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve machining problems

  • Solid communication and leadership skills

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to work 2nd shift and occasional Saturdays
