Performs as well as directs and coordinates activities of disabled workers engaged in grounds maintenance at commercial, private or public property, performing any combination of the following tasks.
Landscape Maintenance:
Cutting lawns, trimming, clipping, edging, planting/maintenance and construction
of flower beds, pruning shrubs, trees, hedges, cleaning grounds, weed control and fertilization.
Snow removal:
Performs snow plowing and removal services during winter months with opportunities to work in the assembly area.
Growth:
Opportunity for advancement into a Foreman position.
* Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience in landscape maintenance.
* Experience in working with people with disabilities is preferred.
* Familiar using property management applications dealing with service providers documentation.
* Must possess organizational/leadership skills, demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
* Must be able to interact with a wide range of people, including State employees, co-workers and the general public.
* Must be able to operate a wide range of power equipment and be somewhat proficient in troubleshooting/repair of equipment.
Must possess a valid WI driver's license and be able to operate a company vehicle with trailer.
