Job Description
Cut Fresh, LLC, the premier supplier of fresh cut produce in Wisconsin, is looking to fill a full-time position for a Maintenance Mechanic for second shift. - Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
- Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
- Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
- Complete repairs and parts replacements.
- Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment.
- Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines and systems both inside and outside the Plant.
- Complete written records of work performed.
- Valid driver's license at the time of hire and throughout employment.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Successful trade or vocational school completion.
- Associate’s Degree in mechanical, electrical or engineering specialties (preferred).
- 2 years’ experience in one or more of the building trades.
- Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience.
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period of time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to act competently in emergencies.
- Working knowledge of two or more trades.
