Job Summary:
In collaboration with Department Manager assists with responsibilities for the implementation, delivery, coordination and supervision of services by team members consistent with Froedtert & Medical College policy and procedures. Primarily serving in a staffing role with some administrative initiatives. Responsible for clinical, technical and/or support services and competencies while serving as the primary mentor/educator to the team members.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
1-3 years experience in an ambulatory care or inpatient setting is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Associate Degree in Nursing. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Maintain clinical/technical competencies. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership ability through positive communication and creative problem-solving technical skills.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Requires a current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-State Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (nursing license compact). American Heart Association (AHA) basic life support for the Healthcare providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
