Location: US:WI:OAK CREEK at our CP-DREXEL TOWN SQ HLTH CENTER facility.

Shift: Shift 1

Schedule: Monday - Drexel Podiatry 8:00-4:30, Tuesday - McKinley Podiatry 8:00-4:30, Wednesday - Drexel Podiatry 8:00-4:30, Thursday - Drexel Podiatry/Ortho 8:00-4:30, Friday - McKinley Podiatry 8:00-4:30

Position is split between Drexel Town Square and McKinley Health Center. This position helps support a Podiatrist 4.5 days a week and an Ortho Surgeon .5 days a week. Job duties are rooming patients, assisting providers, DME fitting, suture removal, patient education, pre-charting, x-ray ordering, documentation and in basket/phone triage.

Job Summary:

Demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment skills and is involved in interdisciplinary collaboration, program development, staff education, and patient education. Also demonstrates emerging leadership skills and mentors department staff. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of two years of experience meeting requirements of Level I responsibilities as determined by interview and assessment.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program is required.\

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

State of Wisconsin licensure as an Athletic Trainer is required. Certification as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. Certification in the use of automatic external defibrillators (AED's) is required. SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be proficient at all AT level 1 competencies. Maintain productivity level and have the potential to take on additional responsibilities. May require clinical expertise in specific discipline.
