Job Description
One of our clients located in Plymouth is looking for a forklift operator to fill in when their workload is busy. Could be 1-2 days per week but will be flexible and the hours are typically 6am to 3pm but could be flexible with that schedule. Are you forklift certified and have worked on a stand-up lift truck? We are looking for a hard working, honest individual who is trustworthy and has good work ethic. Must be self-motivated and understand warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities:
  1. Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move materials throughout a warehouse or distribution center.
  2. Load and unload trucks, stack and unstack pallets, and transport materials to designated areas.
  3. Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
  4. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including keeping aisles clear and removing debris.
  6. Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize work.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
  2. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for forklift operation.
  3. Ability to lift heavy objects and maneuver them safely.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  5. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  6. Flexibility to work on and "on call" basis.

Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Clean driving record and background check.
  3. Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  4. Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures.
  5. Commitment to workplace safety and following all OSHA regulations.
