The Senior Maintenance Tradesperson is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and production equipment, installs functional and structural parts within the facility. Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery. The individual will operate a wide variety of power, pneumatic and hand tools. Position reports to the Facilities Supervisor.

Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for performing periodic preventative maintenance
  • Assist with facility maintenance and repairs including performing work on all mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Maintains the lighting system. Replacing lamps, tubes, and bulbs as needed inside and outside the building
  • Keeps an inventory of all filters, lamps, bulbs and other supplies. Places orders as required
  • Inspects and documents fire extinguisher and fire main system condition
  • Maintains the oil/oily water waste system
  • Assist in equipment and other maintenance repairs
  • Keeps the Maintenance equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Work cooperatively in a group setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Single phase electrical installation
  • Painting experience
  • Ability to follow directions both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with a dynamic environment with changing tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work on elevated work (i.e., Ladder/Manlift)
Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • PLC Programming experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience required
  • Ability to provide direction, implement ideas, and adapt to changing business environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team and cross functionally
  • Ability to use various forklifts and stock-handling equipment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid California Drivers License preferred

Salary Range: The compensation range(s) identified below are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.
