What We Need:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Benefits Analyst is to support Client's Human Resources team, which oversees the Company's compensation and benefits, talent and development, and social responsibility programs. The Senior Benefits Analyst will provide direct support to employees and other Human Resources Business Partners in the U.S. and Canada for benefit programs.
What You'll Be Doing: * Coordinates all aspects of employee benefits, such as health insurance, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs. * Partner with Benefits Director on annual enrollment strategy, communications and testing. * Support and help develop employee benefits education and engagement initiatives and respond to benefit inquiries to ensure timely, in-depth and accurate resolutions. * Help prepare and execute ongoing employee benefits communication strategy to drive employee engagement, improve overall health outcomes and reduce employer costs. * Administer 401(k) and other retirement plans and partner with Fidelity on education workshops. * Participate in the design, development and implementation of new benefit programs. * Evaluate utilization of employee benefit offerings, identify areas for opportunities to increase engagement or reduce costs, and recommend changes based on trends noted. * Provides benefits education and program information to local HR business partners. * Collaborate with Benefits Director and local HR business partners to gain insights on employee and candidate benefits feedback and recommend changes to improve attraction and retention. * Conduct ongoing data audits for benefit enrollment administration. * Assists with managing multiple vendor relationships, coordination for plan changes and annual enrollment, and ensure accountability to service level agreements. * Administer volunteering, matching gifts and scholarship programs. * Process payroll and administer benefit plans for Canadian employees. * Manage daily customer service inquires, escalating issues as necessary. * Manage relationship between local HR business partners and third party leave of absence administrator. * Performs special projects as assigned.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. * Minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience (could be obtained through an internship or co-op). * Knowledge of HR laws, policies and procedures, and basic legal compliance requirements. * Knowledge of basic benefits administration, terminology, and processes. * High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. * Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer focus. * Flexible and a self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while being highly detail oriented. * Strong teamwork skills including the ability to collaborate with others to deliver results. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated process execution skills with strong attention to detail. * Strong desire for continued learning and personal development. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, human resources, or a related discipline. * PHR, SPHR, or Masters in Human Resources is a plus. * Advanced computer skills, specifically with Excel. * Experience working with a Benefits Administration system.
