Overview
Talent Pool - Facilities & Operations
This position is responsible for providing general painting and refinishing of walls, ceilings and floors throughout the hospital and other Cone Health buildings. Repairs any remodeled or damaged surfaces and repairs or replaces damages finishes. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm, but flexible.

Responsibilities

    Performs specific activities, as assigned, related to repairs and maintenance of interior and exterior finishes.
  • Demonstrates safe working practices in the workplace and maintains work area/tools in a clean, orderly and functional condition.
  • Selects proper tools and equipment for the project. Protects area from splash, spray and spills. Cleans area at completion of work.
  • Maintains blueprints and documentation of interior finishes and wallcoverings.
  • Provides timely, legible, correct, and complete documentation on work orders, P.M.*s, reports and estimates. Attends daily shop meetings at the beginning and end of each shift and provides any meaningful information to the next shift and the on-call team.
  • Removes old finishes, repairs, and prepares surfaces for painting or wallpaper..
  • Repairs and replaces ceiling systems, as needed, to maintain an acceptable appearance.
  • Repairs and replaces floor finishes, as needed, to maintain an acceptable appearance.
Qualifications

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Required

EXPERIENCE:
Required - One year of patient/wallpaper or floor installation.
Preferred - 5 years of interior finish work related to painting, wallpaper installation, flooring, or tile setting.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED
Drivers License | Valid Drivers License
PREFERRED
