Job Description

We are looking for a System Administrator/Developer to support OUSD R&E at the Mark Center!

As a System Administrator/Developer, you will:

Week in the life of a System Administrator/Developer:

  • Setup/Maintain Docker containers for MySQL, MongoDB with Python
  • Stand up new functionalities -> E.g., Active directory, CAC pass through, enable CI/CD pipeline
  • Stand up and operate a System log dashboard to monitor server health status
  • Maintain servers -> push updates, monitor compliance, assess vulnerabilities in infrastructure
  • Cloud scripting of infrastructure services -> capture server setup in cloud scripting/deployment to allow for automated rebuilding of infrastructure components
  • Identify/move DDMP app to an enterprise production environment with CAC login (similar to DAVE with direct URL access from JSP laptop); will require approval/maintenance of ATO
  • Digital implementation (e.g., software tool management (on-/off-prem, firewall issues), license management)
  • Load balancing / failover capabilities -> distributing services across elastic infrastructure to manage load and increase resilience
  • Stand up and operate backup server -> On and off prem backup services to maximize resilience of infrastructure/application layers
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Sciencein computer-related or STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • At least some experience in the following:
    • Windows/Linux server administration
    • Docker
    • Jenkins
    • PKI/CAC login
    • Cloud migration
    • Testing tools

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
