Job Description
The Data Analyst position is responsible for the accuracy of the data in the Learning Management System (LMS) and associated systems and applications. This position is responsible for performing complex queries and being able to work effectively with databases. Additionally, this position will be performing database tasks as assigned, creating and revising reports and dashboards, and proactively analyzing learning and performance data and reporting on trends, delinquencies, etc. to the appropriate business partners. The position requires collaboration with the Learning and Culture Advancement team, business unit leaders, HRIS and IT systems staff.

Data Integrity

  • Maintain accuracy of all data in the Learning Management System (LMS) and associated applications.
  • Monitor, identify, and resolve conflicts with LMS employee data feed.

Reporting

  • Create and maintain a reporting strategy for continually evaluating training data and the best way to obtain concrete information from it as well as efficiency of reporting methods.
  • Maintain the integrity of reports/dashboards as changes are made within the system.
  • Perform complex reporting of the LMS data to satisfy the business needs of the organization including extracting data needed for auditing purposes.
  • Keep abreast of changes in LMS regarding the reporting function and plan accordingly through participation in user meetings and online forums and by accessing online resources.

Consulting

  • Train Talent Development team, managers/supervisors to use reporting functions and create documentation to assist with training.
  • Identify and troubleshoot errors in reports created by others and provide solutions.
  • Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives.

Additional Job Description:

Education/Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing or related field required. Master's degree in related field preferred.
  • Three to five years working as a data analyst, LMS administrator or in a similar position. Experience in Workday a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer focus, proficiency, leadership ability, and professional integrity.
  • Self-starter attitude; comfortable working independently.
  • Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors.
  • Ability to gain new technical skills quickly.
  • Customer service skills, responsive attitude.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Excel to be able to filter and utilize formulas to manipulate data.
  • Familiarity with HTML coding for formatting text and reports.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment while adhering to deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license. Must be granted insurable status by the Rogers Memorial Hospital insurance policy.
