Reporting to the Senior Vice Dean for Finance and Administration in the School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM), the Manager-Finance & Accounting reviews and reconciles financial transactions, ensures adherence to operating and restricted fund budgets, administers financial compliance for sponsored projects, supervises the cash operations function, prepares reports on health services activity and incentive compensation and coordinates functions in the Office of Fiscal Affairs. Additional duties may include: reviewing and reporting on adherence to financial policies, including but not limited to the TUSPM Cash Handling Policy and the Temple University Signature Authority Policy, managing the TUSPM Office of Fiscal Affairs in the absence of the Senior Vice Dean for Finance and Administration, hiring, supervising, establishing goals, monitoring performance and communicating plans for improvement for the Coordinator-Cash Operations, in consultation with the Senior Vice Dean for Finance and Administration, reviewing policies established by the Temple University Bursar to ensure that the TUSPM Coordinator-Cash Operations functions in compliance with such policies and serving as liaison between TUSPM and the Temple University Bursar's Office.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or healthcare administration and at least two (2) years of experience in financial analysis for an academic and/or healthcare institution required; master's degree and supervisory experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Must be organized, detail oriented, able to work independently and to complete tasks in a timely manner.

*Must have a customer service orientation and the ability to interact with professionalism and tact under stress.

*Must be proficient with applications such as Microsoft Office, electronic health record/patient management systems and be able to adapt to new technology.
