PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Consults with clients throughout the GROWMARK system to analyze and implement technical infrastructure including the installation, integration, and administration of assigned hardware, software, and services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides the installation, administration and maintenance of the server hardware, operating systems, storage systems, backup systems, and application software. Consults with other technical teams on the network and infrastructure design and integration of these technologies.

Consults directly with clients throughout the GROWMARK System regarding integration of technologies. Provide detailed research, analysis, and recommendations. Consults with systems development group in support of the departmental based applications, services, and servers.

Monitor servers and services to provide statistics and other feedback to help maintain efficient and effective use of these systems. Establish best practices for maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and disaster recovery in support of these systems.

Responsible for appropriate project planning, time reporting, status reports, and other documentation determined by Manager, Enterprise Services to better enable effective resource management.

Consults with vendors regarding new products, product implementations, and problem resolution.

Provides application and infrastructure support as assigned to the role on the team. This can include software, database, operating systems, and AWS infrastructure support.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Attends training classes, seminars and conferences as required to maintain technical knowledge.

Pursues self-study to keep current on technological advances.

Assists with preparation of departmental annual budgets and plans.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of Information Technology.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Occasionally required to lift 21-50 lbs.

Must carry a mobile communication device and respond to after-hours support calls.

Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as necessary.

Must possess a valid passport.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
