Under the supervision of the Conversion Supervisor, the Conversion Specialist will serve as the primary or secondary support for COCC's conversion efforts in the eBanking area.

What you'll do...

  • Assist in the coordination of all action items related to transferring the financial institution from their current service provider to the COCC system.
  • Recognized by clients as an authority on COCC applications and system functionality.
  • Act as a liaison between client and COCC throughout the conversion process.
  • Coordinate all aspects of client conversions targeting satisfaction of Mission Excellence goals
  • Work with conversion analyst on data specification requirements
  • Coordinate specification questions between client and conversion analyst
  • Translate and explain technical information, concepts and requirements in a user friendly language
  • Configure Voice Response Unit system, Electronic banking systems, and ATM/Debit Cards.
  • Participate in internal training programs as needed
  • Ad hoc miscellaneous tasks

What you'll bring...

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
  • Knowledge of ATM/Debit card processing, VRU, Electronic banking systems and SQL is helpful.
  • Minimum of two years banking experience in back office/operations environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure when dealing with dissatisfied customers
  • Familiarity with data specification requirements
  • Ability to translate and explain technical information, concepts, and requirements in a user friendly language
  • Knowledge of database query tools and financial services applications
  • 25% travel to various client locations

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,200 / year
