We Are Hiring:Chief Physicist - Waukesha

ProHealth Care has an opening for a full-time Board-Certified/Eligible Medical Physicist. This position will be primarily located at the UW Health Cancer Center at ProHealth Care in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Applicants will join one other physicist and three dosimetrists to provide the full range of medical physics support for our department. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be competent in all clinical skills necessary to support our radiation oncology operations. This includes performing periodic QA for treatment machines, CT Simulators and image guidance systems. This position will also participate in patient specific QA, treatment chart and plan checks, SRS/SBRTtreatment procedures, HDR treatments, and any additional support needed by radiation oncologists, dosimetrist and therapists.

Treatment equipment includes 4 Varian linear accelerators (2 TrueBeams, 1 VitalBeam, 1 iX), 1 Philips Big Bore CT simulator with 4DCT capability, and 1 Nucletron MicroSelection HDR unit across 3 locations in Waukesha County. Physics QA equipment includes portal dosimetry, ClearCalc, ClearCheck, Mobius, Doselab, RIT, and other equipment and measurement devices.
