Job Description
Position Title: Field Service Technician

Wage: $25.00/hr

Shift: 1st

Hours: Variety of schedules available

The Field Service Specialist is a modern-day adventurer, traveling to diverse customer locations. Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electronic controls.
- Offer technical guidance to production personnel for resolving issues.
- Interpret technical engineering documents like schematics and test plans, with familiarity in embedded software.
- Diagnose and repair equipment in the field and handle product returns.
- Prepare detailed service reports based on field findings.
- Regularly liaise with customers to address service needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with the field service team to develop and enhance project management processes.
- Utilize business software systems for processing customer requests.
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with customers on-site and documenting issues for resolution.
- Familiarity with problem-solving processes for research, resolution, and reporting.

Requirements for Field Service Technician:
- Comfortable with independently evaluating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting field failures using various tools and research methods.
- Proficient understanding of machine controls and operations, including electronic circuits, motors, hydraulics, schematics, and embedded software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel 50% up to 100% of the time depending on position.
- Coordination of eye-hand movements.
- Full use of hands and fingers.
- Ability to reach, manipulate, and handle objects.
- Flexibility to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and climb as needed.
- Maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other elevated structures.
- Excellent vision and hearing.
- Capability to lift and carry objects weighing up to one hundred pounds.
