Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility.

Job Summary:

Coordinates the activities required to optimize surgical instrument inventory levels, availability, and tracking for the OR and other hospital and clinic customer departments. Maintains on-site hardware implant and backup instrument inventories. Collaborates with SPD and OR to resolve incomplete instrument sets. Is a liaison between SPD and customer departments for surgical instrumentation needs. Coordinates instrument repairs and preventative maintenance, including obtaining loaners. Completes all required actions in MMIS. Maintains Instrument Tracking Database and other IT systems used for instrument/set management and tracking. Ensures that loaner instrumentation needs are communicated and processed . Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 6 months of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduation of an allied health program from a technical college preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Intermediate computer skills, including basic Excel skills.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Sterile processing certification is preferred
