Summary of Job Duties:Under the direction of the Director of CHPR or Director Designee(s), the Student Services Coordinator is the CHPR contact for new and potential students. They are responsible for coordinating with Graduate Admissions, assisting with the fieldwork, practicum, and internship areas of designated academic programs, and managing data collection and reporting related to program accreditation processes for designated academic programs. The Student Services Coordinator works directly with Program Coordinator(s) and Field Experience Coordinator(s). This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university;

  • Data collection and management using MS Excel or similar spreadsheet software, and MS Access or similar relational database software.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in an institutional, college or university environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer online interest form inquiries and inform prospective students and applicants about the admissions process, degree requirements, and documentation required for the program(s) of interest;

  • Coordinate applications for graduate admissions, collect and organize application documentation required beyond that of the Graduate School, contact applicants, schedule faculty interviews, process admissions decisions, and maintain all record keeping as required per program;

  • Help student walk-ins or callers with questions about registration, admission, etc.

  • Onboard students accepted into the program(s);

  • Assist with fieldwork practicum and internship (FPI) placements and the organization of FPI applications, evaluation documentation, and log sheets for designated program(s);

  • Use university-designated software to compile and manage data, and run reports for use by Program, School, and College leadership;

  • Assist with accreditation and retention processes, and other projects as needed;

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the CHPR Director or Director Designee(s).
