Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field, or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Relocation package available

As a Technical Writer for Cyber Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the Cyber lifecycle; governance and policy, through accreditation and continuous monitoring; and operations monitoring and incident response.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Cyber security technical writing, understanding of government policies/procedures, and detail orientated.

What sets you apart:

  • Expertise in technical documentation to include training, software, user manuals, hardware/software manual, SOPs and other formal procedures
  • Experience writing technical manuals for Information Technology systems and Cyber Security
  • Highly effective oral and written communications skills for both internal and external customers
  • Technical knowledge of RHEL and the basic concepts of networking, databases and related systems
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite to include Microsoft Project as well as Jira/Confluence

Target salary range: USD $91,495.80/Yr. - USD $99,001.35/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
