As the Impact Specialist, you will drive the success of our community development initiatives and programs. The Impact Specialist will drive success of our community and school programs and work collaboratively to make a lasting impact on our community.

This position has a starting hourly rate of $26.11, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferrable skills.

A Day in the life of an Impact Specialist can look like:

  • Student Run Credit Union: Engage with students who volunteer in various tasks and help them gain practical experience in the financial industry.Assist Impact Team Lead in the coordination with school staff and student volunteers to ensure smooth functioning program.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Implement marketing strategies to promote the credit unions services and increase membership.
  • Engagement: Build our relationships with partners, members and communities we serve.
  • Community Storytelling: Communicate Community Financial Credit Union's impact story to the communities we serve, showcasing our commitment to positive change.
  • Partnership Activation: Participate in public facing Impact events to ensure positive reflection of Community Financial Credit Union brand, community giving and partnerships.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work across multiple Community Financial Credit Union department to identify and implement initiatives that support organizational goals.

What you bring to the table:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • A commitment to community impact and the mission of Community Financial Credit Union.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a role involving project coordination, community development, and/or relationship management.
  • 1 year of experience in advertising, training, marketing, education, or the financial industry.
  • Proven experience in community development, financial education, or a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships within the communities with diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team while focusing on time and resources to ensure goals are achieved
  • An ability to Communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to convey Community Financial Credit Union's mission and impact.


You might also have:

  • Associates degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Community Development, Marketing, or Education)
