Members perform skilled mechanical and technical work related to the development, maintenance, and repair of light and medium duty vehicles and equipment. Technicians are required to exercise good judgment and individual initiative in handling routine work and special assignments.
Hiring Incentive: $10,000 Signing Bonus
Qualifications:
High School graduation or equivalent diploma required from an institution accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or licensed as a degree granting institution by the Commission for Independent Education
Two (2) years' work experience in the maintenance and repair of automotive or other mechanical equipment
ASE Certifications in the following areas required:
- Brakes
- Steering and suspension
Knowledge of automotive air conditioning principles and how they apply; ability to accurately diagnose and repair A/C systems required
Vocational training in a fleet related field preferred
ASE Automobile & Light Truck Master Certification preferred
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license
