Summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking an onsite Senior Superintendent for the Fort Carson Military Housing project located in Colorado Springs, CO. Preferred candidates to have residential experience in the military housing, multifamily housing or wood frame markets. The Senior Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day activities on the project site, work with project team members, and coordinate subcontractor trades to meet and/or exceed the contract schedule. Assists in all activities related to operations to include safety, preconstruction, coordination meetings and weekly meetings with subcontractors, starting up the project, turnover of new units, project closeout, warranty, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture. Maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fifteen years or more of commercial construction field experience.
• Five years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
• Previous or current commercial construction experience in a Superintendent role required.
• Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Scheduling experience sequence using software application.

Preferred Experience

• Local qualified candidates highly encouraged to apply.
• Tier 1 construction backgrounds, very helpful for this role

The base compensation for the Senior Superintendent is between $125,000 and $175,000 annually.
