Location: US: WI: OAK CREEK at our CP-DREXEL TOWN SQ HLTH CENTER facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.00

Shift: Shift 1

Monday - Friday 0700-430
no holidays - no weekends no call

Job Summary:

Responsible for the provision of radiation therapy simulation and treatments to cancer patients in Radiation Oncology. Documents required Radiation oncology simulation, and treatment information in hospital and Radiation EMR. Explains treatment procedure to the patient as it is performed communicating in a clear, concise voice; answers patient's and family's questions and defers those not within his/her competence to the Radiation oncologist. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Knowledge of use and care of therapeutic radiation equipment and knowledge of principles of clinical radiation therapy is required.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Bachelor of Science Degree from an ARRT Certified Radiation Therapy program, or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 5 years of previous Radiation Therapist experience, required

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Certified as a RT (T) Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required within 90
days of hire.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90
days of hire.
