This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position.

• Sunday to Thursday and every other Friday
• Hours: 8 pm to 6:30 am

What Does It Take to be a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.

• Safe operation of forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and hand jack.
• Railcar or pneumatic railcar movement experience is highly desirable.
• Bulk receiving experience is highly desirable.
• Requires oral, written, and communication skills.
• Must be able to handle many diversified tasks at one time and correctly prioritize time.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Computer skills helpful

What You'll Do as a Shipper/Receiver

• Compare counts, weights, or measurements as listed on the shipping documents and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Responsible for the offloading of all bulk raw materials, moving railcars, removal of spent fumigant from railcars in summer months, and cleaning the bulk unloading area.
• Examine the incoming and outgoing trucks to ensure they are clean and meet standards for food and safety standards.
• Use warehouse computer equipment to pull products based on shipping documents. Stage if required or load directly into the truck.
• Pallet inspection.
• SAP batch entry and review.
• Stock rotation (FIFO).
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
• Adhere to GMP, Food Safety, International Food Standards (IFS), and American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support the Circle of Excellence.
