Position Description:
What you will be able to do:
- Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software on HIL and vehicle
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to determine root cause
- Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA
- Store and retain documents and test records according to established OEM guidelines
- 1+ years' experience in automotive embedded systems software
- Understanding of testing methodologies and ability to utilize test equipment (multi meter, scope, logic analyzer, etc.)
- Solid understanding of vehicle structure, subsystems, and components (GAS, HEV and BEV)
- Understanding of Module Hardware/Software Architectures (PCM, HCM, TCM, BCM, Satellite processors - ABS, SJB...)
- Familiar with module emulators and interfaces (M5, M6, A7, A8, etk, xetk)
- Tier II certification
- Capable of performing normal driving procedures on public roads in various conditions and in all OEM produced vehicles
- Experience with calibration methodologies and tools (ATI Vision and ETAS INCA)
- Experience with CAN networks and OBD systems and demonstrated ability to utilize related tools (CANalyzer, PTDiag, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or related field
