• Read prints regularly for both construction and electrical
• Assist in ensuring that the hospital's electrical equipment, installation, and repairs follow appropriate code
• Assist with installing or refreshing electrical systems during renovation projects
• Always strives to maintain and install work in a neat, organized, and efficient manner
• Responsible for assisting with upgrading lighting during renovation projects
• Serve as a resource for quoting projects specific to construction needs
• Manage, update, and control inventory of supplies
• Informs department of status of work or update on completion of work
• Responsible for designing and laying out of projects specific to construction work
• Responsible for demo and installation of all commercial flooring systems appropriate to codes and standards of construction
• Responsible for demo, layout, constructing, and installation of ceilings, walls, painting, and millwork appropriate to codes and standards of construction
• Assist in keeping sufficient inventory of building materials
• Assist in planning, organizing, and maintaining project schedules
• Ability to be a team player and work well with others
• Other Renovation duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years construction experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years prior healthcare work experience preferred
• Strong skills in both construction and electrical
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to think strategically and efficiently
• High level of maturity to manage confidential information in a healthcare setting
