What you'll do

As the Parts Customer Service Representative for Royal Truck Body (A Shyft Group Brand) based in Carson, CA, you will enjoy providing phone-based customer service assistance related to our truck body product and upfit service offerings.

This role is designated as Onsite, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am till 4 pm.

You will also:

  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotations, and returned items
  • Gather precise data from vendors relating to dispatch schedules and projected delivery dates
  • Provide verified information regarding availability of in-stock items
  • Follow up with customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Handle and resolve all customer complaints prompt and effectively
  • Assist branches with sales orders, pricing, product availability, lead times, and status of pending orders
  • Manage time effectively, meet department goals, and work effectively with the sales team
  • Fill requests for catalogs, information, or samples
  • Assist with miscellaneous customer support-related projects and duties as assigned

What you need to be successful
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior customer service or sales support experience
  • Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket sector
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Versed in data entry with MAS 200 (Manufacturing Accounting Software 200) or a related ERP system
  • Ability to type swiftly
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
  • A track record of communicating and working effectively within a team
