As the Senior Manager of Agile Transformation, you will be responsible for building a community of Agile Practitioners, increasing the Agile IQ of the organization, and continuously improving processes to scale globally and achieve peak efficiency. This role will be a part of a global team responsible for guiding our teams and leaders through the implementation of Agile methodologies at scale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

This is a hybrid role, located in our Niles location.

Responsibilities
    Leads the integration and adoption of Agile principles throughout the organization, including tool usage.
  • Coordinates the Agile Community of Practice across our global teams.
  • Prepares, coordinates, and delivers the organizational Agile Training Deployment Plan. Facilitates Agile training sessions, workshops, and ceremonies to promote a common understanding of Agile values, principles, and practices across the organization.
  • Coach and mentor teams, executives, managers, and stakeholders in Agile principles and practices, with a focus on Scaled Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and devise strategies to enhance Agile adoption and maturity; including tool configuration updates as needed.
  • Conduct Agile assessments, identifying gaps in Agile practices, and recommending actionable solutions to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other Agile roles to ensure alignment and smooth functioning of Agile teams.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Agile metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coach and guide the organization in scaling the current Agile practices, ensuring that Agile principles are successfully applied across multiple teams and departments.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and self-organization, encouraging teams to take ownership and drive their Agile journey.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and current releases of the Scaled Agile Framework and DevOps practices and share knowledge across the organization.
  • Provides project reports, prepares collateral materials, and presents statues updates for the Executive Team, and other stakeholders regularly and negotiates changes to project scope, timelines, or budget as necessary.
  • Leverages deep knowledge of organizational roles and responsibilities to effectively address competing interests or opinions.
  • Develops and manages relationships withing and outside of the organization to achieve project goals.
  • Prepares post-project assessment, compiling lessons learned and suggests improvements to the new process.
  • Leads, coordinates, and delivers the organizational change management strategy and execution plan (training & communication) for key initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Practice Consultant-T (SPCT), or other relevant Agile certifications.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Agile coaching, with at least 2 years focused on implementing Agile at scale using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, Lean thinking, and DevOps culture.
  • Demonstrated efficiency with technology tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile training sessions and workshops, adapting content to meet the needs of different audiences.
  • Proven track record of coaching teams and leaders to adopt Agile practices and improve delivery outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and overcome resistance to change.
  • Experience in coaching Agile teams in a variety of domains (software and hardware development, IT, finance, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Strong understanding of Organizational Change Management methodologies and implementation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and execute organizational change management deliverables to help the company navigate through major change initiatives and drive overall adoption.
