What we need:

Perform a variety of domestic and international shipping and receiving tasks. Compare and verify identifying information/shipping records on incoming or outgoing shipments with bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Verify that materials received are as ordered in both type and quantity, and maintain related files and records. May route incoming items to appropriate departments, storerooms or other locations. May prepare appropriate documentation for domestic or international shipments. Maintain all shipping records.

This individual picks and/or packs and prepares product for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with division policies and procedures. Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products, stock and custom. Responsible for the reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in SAP. Reports any shipping related problems as they occur to the Group Leader. Supports goals of continuous improvement by serving on ad hoc committees and/or teams as required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Picks, packs and prepares product for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with division policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products, daily cycle counts, maintenance of finished goods warehouse and receipting of finished goods into the respective inventories in accordance with established procedures.
  • Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in SAP.
  • Reports any shipping related problems as they occur to the Logistics Manager.
  • Supports goals of continuous improvement by serving on ad hoc committees and or teams as required.
  • Contacts carriers for service
  • Other job duties as assigned

What you'll need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull 20 lbs.
  • Ability to climb 12 ladder rungs; constant standing, occasional walking
  • Computer literacy
  • Minimum one year of manufacturing experience; preferably in a shipping/finished goods department
  • SAP experience
  • Shipping and forklift experience will distinguish the most desirable candidate.
