The primary purpose of this position is to provide exceptional customer service while answering incoming customer calls and processing payments.
- Process and balance incoming payments processed via various methods.
- Answer customer calls, document and process requests, and direct calls as needed
- Prepare bank deposits - manual and electronic
- Prepare and maintain various spreadsheets
- Sign visitors in and out and direct them to the appropriate contact person
- Educate customers about payment methods, assistance programs, etc. and answer other questions they may have
- Investigate and process unidentified payments
- Investigate and process returned mail
- Assist with outgoing mail
- Follow Liberty Utilities processes and procedures
- Other duties, as assigned
- Associates degree preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently, quickly, and accurately
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Must demonstrate professional, friendly customer relations skills on the phone and in person
- Must be able to multi-task
- Proficient adding machine skills
- Keyboarding experience
- Valid Driver's License
