MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Logistics Technician is responsible for his/her work. This position reports to the Stockroom Supervisor along with the Stockroom Coordinator(s) and Packaging Clerk(s). He/She maintains accurate stock balances, issues and receives parts, and verifies cycle counts and error reconciliations in any stockrooms. The incumbent is fully versed in and knows all transaction screens needed to perform verifications, corrections, kit issues, shop floor issues, shortages, receipts from the shop, receipts from Receiving Inspection, returns to stock, inter-stock transfers, and spare shipments. 32 transaction screens could be used daily to perform the activities listed, therefore, a large part of the job is knowing how and when to use the appropriate transaction. There is a high degree of accuracy needed because all parts are now, essentially, traceable by lot. This demands that the stock clerk constantly be aware of the lot numbers that are being requested. Keyboard accuracy is also highly important because we are working in an online, real-time environment where an error could be immediately accepted and processed. The Stockroom Clerk may daily be asked to interface with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch Personnel, Model Shop Expediters, Receiving Inspection Personnel, and Assembly and Test Personnel. They will also train any new employees and may be asked to work in different stockrooms as workload necessitates. Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) training and handling is also a requirement. The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for identifying or questioning any deviations from standard practices such as cure dates, packaging, and material handling. He/She signs off on Certification Sheets on spare parts. Additionally, Stockroom housekeeping activities such as cleaning material handling pans, keeping the stockroom neat and orderly, consolidating inventory, and maintaining supplies will be needed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20.00/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (2nd shift). Hours will be either 12-8:30pm or 2-10:30pm

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Holiday pay, 401(k), direct deposit, medical and dental insurance, and more.

A promising career in a growing industry.

Opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and empower yourself (and others).
