Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Coordinator reports to the Senior Nursing Director, with assignments made by the Senior Nursing Director, Clinical Service Managers (CSMs), and Clinical Specialists. Provides administrative and clerical support including, but not limited to, the generation of business reports and data entry to aid in the efficient use of personnel and financial resources on the nursing units. Acts as the Recruiting Coordinator for the Women and Infant's Service Line (WISL) inpatient units for approximately 300 nurses. Collaborates with HR on job postings and recruitment. Provides general administrative support for nursing leadership within the WISL service line.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, human resources, or related field plus two (2) years of experience working in an administrative role OR High School diploma/GED plus six (6) years of experience working in an administrative role

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Must have excellent writing, editing, and spelling skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Workday


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains calendars, schedules appointments, coordinates meetings and special events, answers phones and responds to inquiries, processes mail, and coordinates travel arrangements.

  • Performs general office management functions, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventories of assets, requesting services and equipment maintenance and repairs, and completing purchasing requisitions.

  • Acts as central liaison and initial point of contact for executive meetings with internal and/or external stakeholders.

  • Assists in the planning of departmental events and ensures conference rooms are setup appropriately prior to event.

  • Prepares and distributes presentations, publications, and reports.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
