Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Good communication skills, Computer/basic keyboard skills, telephone etiquette skills, and general knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners
Excellent customer service skills
Must be medical terminology competent within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in basic medical terminology

Responsibilities:
Scheduling and creating appointments for patient procedures in the Inpatient Diagnostic Department
Answer the phone in a courteous and policy manner
Communicating and working with technologists and residents
Retrieving stat orders off printers and paging the technologist
Responsible for transporting patients from the front desk to the department
Responsible for taking specimens to the lab
May include other duties as needed
