Acara Solutions is seeking a talented Warehouse Associate to join our client in Torrance CA.
This will be a Temporary position. Our client is mission-focused and agile. Our client is bringing tomorrow's
technologies to life today with commercial and defense electronics. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year
of warehouse experience with an emphasis on receiving. In this role, the successful candidate will update and
adjust inventory using WMS or ERP. The pay rate is $19.80-$22.74. p/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving
- Maintain and update the ERP system with all incoming shipments.
- Verify shipment accuracy using a packing list.
- Maintain/Update the Order Log with all incoming shipments.
- Perform routine weekly cycle counts.
- Pick and prepare internal customer orders (Inventory Requests).
- Update/Adjust inventory as needed using the WMS/ERP system.
- Inventory organization and maintenance.
- Maintain warehouse and workspace in a clean, safe, and organized fashion
Job Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a GED or High School Diploma, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations
- Experience in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, kitting, and inventory
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook; Excel)
- Data entry skills for accurate and timely input of inventory records
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Mgmt. Systems) or ERP
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:30 am-4:30 pm (OT some evenings and weekends)
- This is a Temporary role-6 month contract
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card under U.S. Government ITAR compliance requirements
PREFERRED SKILLS
- At least 3 years of warehouse experience in an Aerospace environment
- At least 1 year of ERP experience with ION, EPIC Core, PeopleSoft, FedEx, or ORACLE
- 5S Methodology knowledge
- Knowledge of ESD safety protocols and the ability to handle ESD-sensitive components in a safe and compliant manner.
- Self-driven with great time management skills
