Position Purpose
Under limited supervision, maintains designated clinical and other spaces within the Health Service facility at a hospital level of cleanliness. Works with all departments within Health Services and coordinates with Dartmouth FO&M Work Control Office, reporting all appropriate building and equipment repair and other maintenance requests. Performs several central administrative functions for the Health Service.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp High School plus 1-2 year(s) of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

1 year relevant experience
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software applications

Associates degree
3 years relevant experience in a health care or similar setting

Key Accountabilities

Description
Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains clinical spaces in 5 and 7 Rope Ferry: coordinate cleaning processes with FO&M custodial services and external contracted cleaning services as appropriate.
Percentage Of Time 70
Description
Responds to and reports repair and maintenance concerns observed in the building or as reported from Health Service departments. Completes and submits work order requests through FO&M Work Control system and follows up on incomplete work requests.
Percentage Of Time 15
Description
Manages central administrative functions such as mail handling, delivery and distribution, manages building recycling program and shredding of confidential medical information and medical waste removal.
Percentage Of Time 5
Description
Monitors and replenishes clinical supplies in exam rooms and inpatient department. Manage storerooms and inventory to ensure appropriate supply levels for linens, clinical supplies, cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies, office supplies and other items.
