Job Description

Our Survey team is seeking a SURVEYOR I-II to join our Oregon/Idaho region and be based in Boise. We care about your development and our survey team has a strong track record for our surveyors experiencing career growth and opportunities.

WHO YOU ARE:

Technically Proficient: You are proficient in software including ACAD C3D, MicroStation ORD, Trimble Business Center, Virtual Surveyor, and Pix4D.


Experienced: You have 2+ years of experience in field and office surveying, with emphasis on geospatial data processing. LSI/LSIT certification or equivalent experience (certified survey tech) preferred. Ideally you will have UAS Part 107 training and certification, or the desire to become certified.

Supportive: You will support basemap drafting, scanning/point cloud processing, and data extraction. You will also assist the Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with records research, drafting, and preparing legal descriptions. You may also provide support to field surveyors and operate survey equipment independently as needed.

Relationship & Communication Focused: You have strong people skills, a collaborative approach, are a team player and thrive on developing rapport with others to produce a quality product. You should be team oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work ethic: You demonstrate a desire to learn and stay updated with emerging data and technology trends. You are self-driven, motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You are willing to work in the office or remotely, and available for out-of-town assignments as required.

Starting hourly rate for this position is in the range of $24-$34+. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
