Rotating (United States of America)Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is hiring a Registered Nursing Student for a Flexi rotating position.
As anRN Student (Nursing Care Partner) with Sentara, you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse. This role is for nursing students within 2 semesters of graduation and is an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on. RN Nursing Students are unlicensed staff members who are within two semesters of graduation from an accredited RN program They are accountable to, and work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to implement delegated aspects of nursing care. Provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse. Observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any change to the nursing or medical staff.
Requirements:
Current student enrolled in clinical RN program must be within 2 semesters from graduation from accredited RN program.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
