Starting pay $74,000

This position will be fully in-person reporting to Manassas, VA.

The Systems Administrator plays an essential role in ensuring the organization's security and management of Didlake's corporate systems. Didlake's systems are configured, maintained, and optimized to meet the evolving needs of the business and its users. This position involves a blend of technical acumen and customer service, as the administrator is responsible for overseeing the user experience, ensuring seamless access to tools and applications, and addressing any issues that arise within the platforms.

By managing user accounts, setting up permissions, and monitoring system health, the Systems Administrator ensures that employees have the resources they need to work effectively, while also safeguarding the company's data and compliance with relevant policies. Through their efforts, the administrator supports the organization's productivity and collaboration goals, making them an integral part of the IT team.

Active Directory:

  • Design, deploy, manage, and serve as the primary expert for the multi-forest Microsoft Active Directory environment.
  • Creates and manages directory infrastructure, including FSMO rules, trusts, and replication technology.
  • Manages forests and domains including planning and designing Organization Units (OUs).
  • Configures and manages Active Directory sites, subnets, and global catalog.
  • Oversees, manages, and troubleshoots Active Directory authentication and LDAP configuration.
  • Seeks and recommends improvements to the existing Active Directory and Exchange architecture.
  • Administers and troubleshoots Group Policy.
  • Creates and executes PowerShell scripts to configure objects and Group Policy.
  • Utilizing the Change Management process, apply changes and upgrades to the Active Directory environment.
  • Ensures overall security of the Active Directory domains.

Office 365:

  • Ensuring the operational health of the O365 Suite Applications including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
  • Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.
  • Develop future strategies for Office 365 products and services.
  • Manage user identities and credentials, including setting up and administering user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Office 365 environment.
  • Configure and maintain mailboxes, including email forwarding, shared mailboxes, and email security settings to ensure secure and efficient email communication.
  • Implement and manage Office 365 compliance features, including data loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and retention policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of Microsoft Teams, including team creation, policy configuration, and integration with other Office 365 services to enhance internal communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Office 365 services and connectivity issues, using tools like the Microsoft 365 admin center and PowerShell scripts to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.

SharePoint:

  • Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
  • Providing SharePoint support and end-user training.
  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user experiences.

Corporate Systems:

  • Manage security access for users of the StarNet corporate intranet.
  • Manage security and administrate the Lauris online rehabilitation database.
  • Manage security access for Deltek Costpoint Enterprise Resource Planning software.
  • Manage security access for ADP Enterprise Human Resources/Payroll software.
  • Manage security access and administrate the Docuware document management system.
  • Manage security access for the Dynafile Employee file system.
  • Manage security access for the Concur Expense Management system.
  • Manages Key scan building access.
  • Responsible for all System Administration standard operating procedures.
